Can anyone recommend a DMV in or near the South Bay that is good? I need to visit the DMV (unfortunately they are making me come in and I can't do it by mail/online!) and I refuse to go to the Hawthorne DMV. Last time I went to that DMV location it was an absolutely horrible experience. I know not all DMVs are that bad, so does anyone know of a better one? Is Torrance better?

So...today I went to the San Pedro DMV, mainly because I could get an appointment there first. I was guessing since it was easy to get an appointment it probably isn't too crowded there. YES! I was in and out in just under 15 minutes. Amazing. Little bit of a drive down PCH, but worth it. This is the South Bay DMV you want.
