Default Finally Coming!

Well, we finally sold our house and I will be flying out in 2 weeks to find a place to live.

A few questions...we would prefer a duplex, etc but what apt complexis can anyone recommend? We need two bedrooms and would prefer not to exceed 1800/mo.

Also, I will only be able to come out for a week, think it's possible to find a place in that amount of time?

And finally, how likely is it that someone will rent to me without a job lined up in the area? We have savings, etc and flawless credit.

Thanks for any help!

from what I can tell most of the best south bay rentals are not in apt. complexes - they are in smaller privately owned rentals like duplexes, triplexes, etc. but, if you're in a jam and need to line-up a short-term rental, you could check out one of the large complexes like playa pacifica in hermosa beach

totally, but doing a bunch of Internet research first would probably help

i think as long as you can prove you've got plenty of money to cover rent, you should be ok.

anyway, thats my $0.02, hope it helps...
